OUR PEOPLE
North Huber Heights Baptist Church is a fellowship of people from diverse backgrounds celebrating our life in Christ, who have come together because we share a common commitment to our Lord and to the authority of His Word, the Bible.
OUR PURPOSE
We are seeking to live as a unified body with our Lord Jesus Christ as the head, to proclaim the unadulterated gospel of Christ, and to faithfully disciple those in the body with the perfect Word of God.
OUR PASTOR
Pastor Marvin Engle has been set apart by the Lord Jesus Christ to study His Word and to serve as the leader of our church.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio and has a Bachelor of Theology, majoring in Bible and Theology, from Baptist Bible Seminary of Johnson City, New York.
He has served as a senior pastor for 40 years and is an experienced Bible teacher and pastor. He also has conducted numerous seminars titled “God’s Plan for Successful Living.”
OUR PRIORITIES
At North Huber Heights Baptist Church, we have five primary areas where we hope to serve you.
1. We want to help in your relationship with God. If you do not personally know Christ, we want to help you establish a relationship with Him. If you already know Him, we want to help you become involved in the exciting process of growing toward spiritual maturity.
2. We want to help you grow in your understanding of the Bible and how it relates to your everyday life. We seek to faithfully teach God’s Word and to help you learn to regularly study Scripture to discover how it relates to your life.
3. We want to help you develop supportive friendships in the church. We all need friends, and we hope you will find at least one good friend in the church family with whom you will feel freedom to share both joys and sorrows.
4. We want to help you find a place of ministry. Every Christian has a spiritual gift. We want to help you discover your gift and become involved in appropriate ministries where your gifts and experiences can be utilized for the glory of God and the good of others.
5. We want to help you strengthen your family relationships. Whatever your family situation, we desire to help you in making your family relationships stronger and deeper.

OUR BELIEFS
We believe in…
One triune God, eternally existent
in three persons: Father, Son, and the
Holy Spirit.
The Bible, as the inspired, inerrant Word of God; the final authority
in all matters of faith and conduct.
Jesus Christ, His deity, virgin birth, sinless life, vicarious death, burial,
and bodily resurrection, ascension to
the right hand of the Father, and imminent return in power and glory.
Man’s sinfulness and salvation by grace through faith in the completed work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
The ministry of the Holy Spirit
by whose indwelling, the Christian
is enabled to live a godly life.
The resurrection of the dead, the believer to life everlasting and the unbeliever to judgement.
The Church as the Body of Christ,
for whom He will return, composed
of all who have trusted in Christ
alone for their salvation.
